Deep Relaxation

Many of my clients just want to relax-especially those who have highly stressful careers. This workshop will show how to focus on what your clients mean when they say,”I just want to relax.” We will cover relaxation techniques for ourselves and our clients as well as integrating therapeutic techniques into a calm setting.

This technique works especially well for pain management and palliative care. He uses his martial arts background to delve into stretch and release movements as well as positional release. This class will focus on the upper body. Paul will also help therapists with ergonomic/body mechanics for lifting clients. We suggest that students have taken a Sports Massage Class before this workshop or review upper body anatomy prior to attending.
